The Freedom of Russia Legion has posted a statement accusing "Putin’s terrorist regime" of committing the recent terrorist attack at a concert hall in Moscow Oblast.
"We accuse Putin’s terrorist regime of today’s tragedy. We have faced similar manifestations of the Kremlin’s dictatorship since the very first days of Putin’s rule and are not surprised by yet another bloody provocation", Freedom of Russia Legion said.
The Legion claims that both the terrorist attack and its media coverage were planned.
The Legion stressed that they do not fight civilians: terrorist attacks are "a method often employed by Putin’s security services which we do not support and against which we fight".
Recall a shooting incident occurred at a concert by the band Piknik at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Oblast, on the evening of 22 March.
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Russia's Security Council, has commented on the shooting near Moscow, claiming that "if it is established that these are terrorists affiliated with the Kyiv regime", they should be "ruthlessly exterminated as terrorists".
Medvedev added that terror is the only response that terrorists understand. No trials or investigations will help unless force is met with force, and deaths with mass executions of terrorists and repressions against their families. Medvedev claimed that this is "global experience". "If it is established that these are terrorists affiliated with the Kyiv regime, there is no other way to deal with them and their ideological inspirers. All of them must be found and ruthlessly exterminated as terrorists, including officials of the state that committed this atrocity. Death for death", he added.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has categorically rejected accusations made by Russian officials that Ukraine had any involvement in the shooting at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Oblast. Defence Intelligence of Ukraine stated that the terrorist attack was a deliberate provocation by Putin’s regime that had been anticipated by the international community.
