Heads up!

The next lunar eclipse will occur during the late hours of March 24th into March 25

Watch to find out if you might be able to witness it.

It will be what is known as a penumbral lunar eclipse.
Which simply means the moon will be passing through the edge of the earth’s shadow known as the penumbra.

During this time the moon will slightly darken if closely observed and it sometimes even turns a reddish hue.

It will be most visible in North and South America.
The eclipse will begin at 12:53 a.m. EST (9:53 PST), and ends at 5:32 a.m. EST (2:32 PST).

The best period of time to witness this will be during the “maximum stage” of the eclipse.
The maximum eclipse will happen at 3:12 a.m. ET, 12:12 AM PT
