The House Of Representatives passed Bill H.R. 7521 AKA The TikTok Bill which, if passed by the Senate and signed by the President, will force ByteDance to either sell TikTok to a foreign company (most likely American) or be banned in the United States. However, why is this bill favored and pushed by both Democrats and Republicans when they usually don't see eye to eye on anything?
