Moscow shooting: Russia facing ‘bloody attack’ as gunmen open fire at music venue

Several people are believed to be dead after a number of gunmen in combat fatigues burst into a big concert hall in Moscow on Friday and fired automatic weapons at the crowd, according to Russian state media.

Moscow is facing “a bloody terrorist attack”, Russia’s foreign ministry Maria Zakharova spokeswoman said.

The attackers also used explosives, causing a massive blaze at the Crocus City Hall, which is on the western edge of Moscow.

Video posted on social media showed huge plumes of black smoke rising over the building.
