This is the moment the #UN #security #council vetoes the #US-sponsored resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Some 11 countries voted in favour of the resolution, one country abstained, while three countries voted against it - Russia, China and Algeria. As China and Russia are permanent members of the council, the vote failed.
