Megan Tries Antarctica, Part 9: Deception Island

In Part 9, you join me on another excursion, this time to a volcanic island. I really enjoyed the hike, despite the struggle of walking on volcanic gravel and the gale force winds. The winds did give me a chance to do my favorite thing: the windy hair test! And after the hike, it was the moment of truth as I stripped down to my swimsuit and jumped into the Arctic Sea for a real polar plunge.

I've been an avid traveler for years, but I tried a lot of new things with this trip! It was my first vacation as a solo traveler, my first time vlogging a trip, and my first time on two continents: South America and Antarctica.
