How Jesus' Power Was Tested

They came to the land of the Gerasenes, which was across Galilee. When Jesus came ashore, a man from the city met Him. This man, who was possessed by a demon and had not worn clothes for a long time, lived not at home but in cemetery caves. When the man saw Jesus, he screamed and fell down before him. He cried out loudly, “O Jesus, Son of the Most High God, what do you want from me?” said. “I beg you, do not torture me!” Because Jesus commanded the evil spirit to come out of the man.
