The American Psychological Association defines “trauma” as “an emotional response to an adverse event,” which often results in long-lasting mental and physical effects. Childhood trauma (CPTSD or Complex PTSD) can occur when a child witnesses or experiences a major negative event. Even if you don't remember your exact childhood trauma, it still had an impact on you. So, can childhood trauma affect your life as an adult? The answer is yes.

Hope it is useful. Thank You
