The Passenger is a 2023 horror-thriller film directed by Carter Smith and written by Jack Stanley. It stars Kyle Gallner and Johnny Berchtold as two co-workers at a fast food restaurant who embark on a violent and twisted road trip after one of them snaps and kills their colleagues. The film is produced by Blumhouse Television and distributed by MGM+.

The film follows Randolph Bradley (Berchtold), a timid and passive employee who is bullied by his co-workers and has no control over his life. His co-worker Benson (Gallner) is a silent and angry loner who harbors a deep resentment towards society. One day, Benson goes on a rampage and shoots everyone in the restaurant except Randolph, whom he forces to join him on a car ride. Along the way, Benson makes Randolph confront his fears and the people who wronged him in the past, such as his ex-girlfriend and his former teacher. Randolph gradually realizes that Benson is not trying to help him, but to push him to the edge of madness.

The Passenger is a film that explores the themes of power, trauma, and identity. It challenges the viewers to question their own morality and empathy as they witness the disturbing relationship between the two main characters. The film also features a tense and suspenseful atmosphere, with shocking bursts of violence and gore.
