Eclipse Lockdowns?
Not sure if this was discussed because I haven't been around but some states are warning people to hunker down for the eclipse. VT warned residents to stay in their homes because of all of the tourists coming here. 160k are expected. They are bringing in cell towers to handle the load and predicting massive traffic problems. I thought the whole thing was sus but kind of wrote it off until I heard that TX was warning people to have two weeks of food and other essentials prepped.
Now I'm not saying anything is going to happen but I seriously hope it doesn't because people will be "displaced" all over the country during the eclipse. I think it's odd that the eclipse news stories started in VT in January and since then there has been at least one eclipse story every single day. Many of the stories contain warnings.
I haven't looked into the other states that will be in the line of the eclipse but I'm willing to bet that they are putting out the same warnings
