Stellantis has announced an investment in a French company

SteerLight makes microchips with LIDAR [[lie-dar]] that can detect the environment around a vehicle in three dimensions. Officials with SteerLight say with this investment from Stellantis they can accelerate the adoption of autonomous vehicles.
