Speak life, not death. Words wound sometimes. 05062023

This is in complete opposition to what the world (and the enemy) wants. It's so easy to slander and gossip. It's also easy to speak harshly, even with completely pure intentions. Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Words do wound despite what anyone says. Sometimes we even curse ourselves and other people. We wound them in the wrong way when speaking the truth in some instances. So, this is something we must work on overall.

Speak the truth in love. Be mindful of what you speak over yourself and others. Speak life and not death. When you mess up, forgive yourself. When others wound by their words, forgive them.
