Why Universal Basic Income Fails

The conversation around Universal Basic Income (UBI) often splits opinions, and here's my take: UBI seems like a shortcut to encouraging a lack of ambition. I can't wrap my head around the growing fascination with socialism, given the historical track record of such economic models.

From Argentina to various other nations that have dabbled in socialism or communism, the outcomes often speak for themselves—rarely, if ever, do they echo success. This notion that handing out money for no work will somehow uplift society feels fundamentally flawed to me. Sure, capitalism has its faults; no system is without.

Yet, when we look at the broader picture, capitalism stands out as the most effective economic framework we've witnessed. It's driven by merit, innovation, and the pursuit of improvement, making it, in my eyes, the best option we've got on the global stage.
