Elmer McCurdy was an outlaw known for his tenacity and resilience. Despite numerous attempts by law enforcement to capture him, McCurdy managed to evade capture for a significant period. For decades, his mummified remains were passed around various carnival exhibits and haunted houses, with people unaware of his true identity.
