A Delta Airlines (Flight DLS581 Aruba to Atlanta) Boeing 737-900 had an engine blowout after take-off today.

On Monday, a Lufthansa A330 (Frankfurt to Dubai) had to make an Emergency landing in Rhodes after smoke was reported in the cabin.

On Sunday, an Alaska Airlines 737-800's windshield cracked upon descending into Portland International.

Baloch nationalists attacked Pakistan's Gwadar Port in the Balochistan region. This port is part of the $65 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

Today Vietnam's President, Vo Van Thuong, resigned. He is the second President to resign in over a year (Nguyễn Xuân Phúc resigned on January 18th, 2023). Their previous interim President (Võ Thị Ánh Xuân) will take over for a second time, until a replacement is found.
