Heliopause

The heliopause is the boundary where the influence of the Sun's solar wind ends and the interstellar medium begins. It marks the outer edge of the heliosphere, the vast region of space dominated by the Sun's influence, and is where the pressure of the interstellar medium balances the solar wind. Beyond the heliopause lies interstellar space, which is filled with gas, dust, and cosmic rays from other stars.
