The 2020 Tesla Roadster is kind of cheating. It had an optional SpaceX package with a suite of ~10 cold gas thrusters. I'm NOT EVEN JOKING. ROCKETS ON A CAR!!!!
With the SpaceX Thruster Package, the car's acceleration, braking, and handling greatly improve. And it might even be able to fly—briefly.
