Kid Sleds Down Sidewalk And Racks Himself On A Stop Sign

In a lot of the videos that we see here at America’s Funniest Home Videos there are clear paths to fails. Sometimes though one flies out of the ether and surprises you with how the fail shows up.

This video of a kid sledding down a hill is surprisingly relaxing…

If this were set to some gentle music it would almost be an idyllic reflection of a calm winter day and a boy enjoying his sled down a relatively easy slope. There is something meditative about the wide shot framing of the camera and easy sounds of the sled scraping down the icy sidewalk. It actually managed to lull us into a false sense of peace. Almost. We mean, this is America’s Funniest Home Videos after all. Something is going to go wrong for this kid, we just do not know when or how. To be honest, despite our semi-peaceful state we were worried that he was going to run into a car or another kid. It’s happened before and will happen again.
