History: The Park is located in the Connecticut River Valley, where outstanding specimens uncovered in 19th century brownstone quarries have found their way into museums throughout the world. In 1966, a new chapter was added to that storied history with the discovery of more than 2,600 individual dinosaur footprints, most classified as Eubrontes Giganteus.
