The Empty Room

This piece was recorded in 1990. It was on an old cassette so the quality isn't great. It is written for flute, tenor saxophone, clarinet, violin, viola and cello. At the time I was interested in Japanese music so there are some Japanese-influenced scales used and some passages inspired by the Japanese instrument the sho.
