NYC Announces Changes to the “Right to Shelter” Law

• The right to shelter law guaranteed a shelter bed to anyone in need… not anymore…

• The terms of the settlement agreement between city officials and the Legal Aide Society limits single adults (Mainly MALES) to stays no more than 30 days in shelters… So Newly arriving illegals will only get a shelter bed for 30 days.

• Single adults under 23 will be able to stay for 60 days.

• 183,000 +++ illegals have arrived since Spring 2022.

Just like Chicago… they are going to say to thousands of young adult illegal men, sorry, but ya gotta go now buddy.
