The Remains of Slain New Mexico State Police Officer Justin Hare Arrive in Albuquerque

The wail of police and fire sirens could be heard for miles.

New Mexico State Police Officer Justin Hare was killed on March 15th, 2024 during a traffic stop in Tucumcari, New Mexico. His remains were escorted to Albuquerque to the Office of the Medical Investigator.

New Mexico State Police and other police agencies drove from Tucumcari to Albuquerque with lights and sirens. The hearse was escorted by a large group of police officers.
