"As you probably know, dogs have many quirks. The one from our video has a very unusual one. He just loves to lick ice! Yup, he prefers a fine bowl of ice over bones or doggy treats! Wow! nMost people prefer a nice, hot cup of hot cocoa in the winter as opposed to an ice cream or other cold treats. We usually prefer warm beverages when the weather is cold, but there are some dogs that absolutely go crazy when it snows and love to eat it as it falls. Some dogs go even further, like the one from our video like ice. The reason for this is simple. Dogs can cool down only by panting or through their paw pads. So they often need to find external ways to cool down. Dogs like ice because it's a cold treat - it’s a doggy ice cream. Eating ice or drinking ice water helps bring their body temperature down quickly to avoid overheating. Dogs are just so cool, right?"
