JESUS Wept

"Jesus Wept." (John 11:35)

"And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth....19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." (Revelation 3:15-16, 19-22)

Too many teach and too many believe that the reason Jesus wept was because He was mourning the loss of His close friend, Lazarus, but I, after carefully reading through this passage, prayerfully seeking the Lord by Holy Spirit - I am firmly convinced that was NOT the case; but, instead, Jesus wept because He understood by the Spirit that many who were about to witness first-hand the resurrection of Lazarus would believe and so would many who would be witnesses to the resurrection choose NOT to believe and would instead run to the religion (those who had NO RELATIONSHIP OR KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS PERSONALLY) and complain about it.

Why is this important? Because this magnificent resurrection miracle of Lazarus was a precursor to Jesus's soon coming death and resurrection - during His time - and now - FOR US TODAY!

The question is: WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE? Will you be one for whom Jesus is weeping because of your doubt and disbelief or unbelief - or - will you be a BELIEVER IN HIM which if He weeps - He will weep for the Love and the Joy that He feels towards you because you love Him and believe Him? YOUR CHOICE....
