Automaker Update: The Harsh Reality of EVs

There are some automaker updates which include the harsh reality of EVs that may shock you. The Biden administration is providing a shot of energy into America’s flagging electric-vehicle industry. The country’s biggest lithium-mining project is on track to get a $2.26 billion loan from the Energy Department, part of the administration’s push to increase domestic production of the rechargeable batteries that power EVs even though sales are suffering. Auto companies are delaying vehicle launches and reevaluating. All of this while Tesla stock is dropping and now admitting that sales will be soft for some time to come on a global basis, this is from Elon Musk. Separately Wells Fargo says it’s a “growth company with no growth.” After all this what is the future of electric cars and what do consumers want.
