Steve Parkins - Making Friends With Your Demons

Steve Parkins is a man on a mission. His mission is to lift people up and change lives using the experiences he has had at the sharp end of life.

Steve grew up in the North East and, with the Falklands War as his inspiration, joined the British Army. He quickly realised that it was not for him knowing that if he was to stay, he would become subject to the mind control the Army specialises in.

He spent the next few years trying to get out by the Army, seeing his talent, did not make it easy and he ended up taking an extended stay in prison. Coming out he built a life outside but ended up back in come 2020. An intervention by an old friend working with charity Care After Combat saved him and he made a decision to turn things around.

Steve's story is not yet written and is only just get starting. His time in prison taught him to face his demons, make friends with them use his experience to help people take the right road.
