October 8, 1953 - Message 5783 from Jesus through Bertha Dudde

I can dictate My will to but a few people, only a few have the understanding for what motivates Me to speak in direct contact, only a few understand that the Father's love for His children is so great that He uses every means that promises success... and only a few believe that it is the Father's voice that wishes to make itself heard, for the children are in utmost adversity. The fact that so few people believe it is due to the fact that My love is no longer recognized... that people only believe, if they believe at all, in a God Whom they fear, because they have to answer to Him or honor Him, acknowledging His power and greatness... Love, however, would transpose this concept of God into an entirely childlike view, a God of love would become their Father, to Whom they could entrust themselves and Who they themselves could also love...

But why do people no longer recognize Me as the exceedingly loving Father that I am, He who knows no other desire than to embrace His children in His arms, Who finds His bliss in providing bliss to His children... Why do people only stand there in the distance, shy and full of doubt, why does no longing for love drive them into My arms... because they are no longer able to recognize Me as a God of love, as a Father... because they form a wrong image of Me... because they are not informed about Me in truth... because I am presented to them as an angry, punishing God, One Who demands an account for every sin, judging mercilessly. A being that is feared is not aspired to... Best case, one conscientiously fulfills all that is demanded, but always only out of fear, never out of love. Yet I want to be loved... I wish to possess the love of My living creations, and I will do everything to gain it, for only a relationship that establishes love can bring you happiness forevermore.

I alone know where to look for the cause, and I alone know how the people can still be helped, so that they will recognize Me as a God of love, striving towards Me of their own volition... I must bring Myself close to the people, I must come to them, because they do not want to come to Me... they must perceive My concession as a blessing, so that they will also accept My gift that I bring them without reluctance... My Word, which reveals Me to My living creations, such that they will be able to love Me... My Word through which I reveal Myself as love. For they have not known Me up until now, they have been erroneously instructed, they have formed a false image of Me... My adversary has worked diligently to create this distorted image of Me, because he wants people to no longer recognize Me, because he wants to suffocate the love for Me in My living creations, which signifies the final return to Me.

All of you who are distant from Me, you don't know Me properly, and I wish to reveal Myself to you as a God of love, wisdom and might, as a Father Who longs for your love... And therefore, I enter into direct contact with you, I express Myself through an earthly child devoted to Me, in order to take the path to all of you, in order to gain your love and to be able to bestow My love upon you... Blessed are those who believe that it is I, your Father of eternity, Who speaks to you... Blessed are those who accept My Words, who recognize Me as the Eternal Love, no longer hesitating to take hold of the Father's outstretched hand... Blessed are those who allow themselves to be drawn close by Me... Amen.
