Holy Quran - Sura 67, Al-Mulk (The Sovereignty) - Recitation by Al-Afasi

Surah Al-Mulk is the 67th surah (chapter) of The Glorious Quran. Name of the surah means The Dominion. It has 30 ayaat (verses) and was revealed in the holy city of Makkah i.e., before Prophet ﷺ migrated to the city of Medina. This surah can be found in juz / paara 29.

Introduction:

This Meccan sûrah stresses that Allāh's infinite power is manifested through His perfect creation. Those who disbelieve in Allāh and deny the Resurrection will be regretful in Hell, whereas those in awe of their Lord will be richly rewarded in Paradise. Allāh's absolute authority is contrasted with the powerlessness of false gods. The fact that there is no protection from Allāh's torment is emphasized in this sûrah (verses 20, 21, and 30) and the next (68:17-33).
