False Claims Might Have BIG CONSEQUENCES for This Woman

A TikTok influencer by the name of Julia Reel posted a video to her account, in which she detailed a "crazy" experience, where she and a friend were kicked out of a bar - Hubbard Inn - in Chicago. She claimed they were manhandled, pushed, grabbed, dragged and thrown down the stairs by the male bouncers that worked there. After her video full of very serious accusations went viral, Hubbard Inn received numerous bad reviews and threatening messages - which brought their attention to what was being said, and gave them the opportunity to tell their side of the story. They posted a video with the security cam footage, where, once again - the facts don't align with the story being told.

What would motivate someone to do this? Have Gen Z totally lost touch with reality? Do they really not understand the consequences of their actions?
