On this date, 4 years ago, Trump rolled out the "15 day" lockdown idea, which was then extended and extended, taking a toll on the lives of almost every American. Workers paid the price with cuts in hours and job losses because of inability to come into work in person. Business owners couldn't maintain income because they were lorded over about how many customers they could have inside a building, if at all, and many were forced to remain closed and went out of business. Children paid the price. Parents paid the price. The elderly paid the price when family members were forced to stay away and not allowed contact with them, even on their deathbeds. Those who survived in nursing homes were cut off from in person contact visits with their families, which many of them had only that to live for. Many of all ages suffered detrimental mental health effects, drug and alcohol use, and poverty.

And all of these bright ideas eventually spilled directly into another bright idea from that administration - Operation Warp Speed. A plan to force unproven and non-FDA approved genetic modifying technology on humans, without prior Phase III trials completed, on a scale of patient (test subject) administration never before seen in history, and to which the effects were not certain, but could have been predicted as adverse by anyone with a modicum of understanding of the subjects. A plan that started with immunity for the drug companies from any liability for their deadly products, whether the harm was accidental or intentional. And all brought to you by a leader who still to this day stands behind it, wants his full credit for it, and hasn't the faintest clue of the damage any of the aforementioned has done. So, on this 4th anniversary of "15 Days to Slow the Spread", which turned into 3 Years of Flattening America, make sure to give him the credit he is due. I certainly do. I haven't forgotten who did that for us...
