India to hold seven-phase general elections beginning in April

India is preparing to go to the polls in spring, as it outlines its much anticipated schedule for the 2024 General Election, in what will be the world's largest democratic exercise. The marathon seven-phase, six week vote, will kick off in April, with results to be declared in June. RT’s Runjhun Sharma explains.
