Pelosi Tries To Walk Back Defining Tax Cuts As "CRUMBS"

She told reporters Thursday that "we love when people get a bonus [or] a raise," but said "something is wrong" if the tax bill was passed to benefit the top one percent of Americans over working families.

Ed Henry noted on "Fox & Friends" that Pelosi is in the "hall of fame" when it comes to questionable rhetoric, recalling when she said Congress would have to "pass ObamaCare so we can find out what's in it."

Pelosi also said the Republicans' tax cuts would be Armageddon and warned last summer that "hundreds of thousands of people will die" if the GOP health care bill was passed.

Speaking in West Virginia last month, Trump likened Pelosi's comment about "crumbs" to Hillary Clinton insulting his supporters as "deplorables" during the 2016 campaign.
