CALLING OUT CHINA: DEA Agent Praises #BloodMoney | The Drill Down | Ep.157

In this episode of The Drill Down, Peter Schweizer and Eric Eggers welcome Special Agent in Charge of Special Operations at the Department of Justice and the Chief of the New York Drug Enforcement Task Force Derek Maltz.

Maltz offered praise of Schweizer's newest book, #BloodMoney, and pointed out that the American fentanyl crisis wasn't a recent phenomenon. He started seeing fentanyl hit the streets back in the late 2000s.

All the while, according to Maltz, state and federal governments haven't been keeping up with drug enforcement laws, to which Schweizer says, "On purpose."
