RQ4: Marco Van Huigenbos

Marco Van Huigenbos is a former Town Councillor for Fort Macleod, Alberta Town, husband and father to 4 children. In 2022, Marco, along with many others, were protesting the governments' lockdown measures. He is charged under the Criminal Code of Canada for mischief over $5,000 and faces a 10 year prison sentence for his role at the Coutts, Alberta boarder. Due to a publication ban, we cannot delve into the case. Marco and Katherine discuss the lockdown measures generally and the state of Alberta politics, including barriers for participation, among other matters.
