In this first episode of Texas Insider's special mini-series on Native American history, our host Larrison Manygoats takes us through a different take on the latest Hollywood movie "Killers of the Flower Moon." Based on a book of the same name by journalist and author David Grann, the movie brings to screen what's known as the Reign of Terror in the 1920s when Osage Indians were murdered for their wealth.

With the help of D.Michael McBride III, Randle Yates, Mitch Boulanger we go into depth of the genocide of Osage nation that was first recorded in the 1920s that is still happening today.

"That guardianship was, that was the way, and that guardianship. Basically you had to be released by the US government to be sound and fit minded and almost declared a human to handle your own procedures, financially."
