Kim drives tank during North Korean military exercise

North Korean state media have released photos of what appear to be Kim Jong-un driving a tank before inspecting the military’s latest training drill on Wednesday. The images, released by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), show Kim appearing to drive what KCNA called the military's ‘new-type main battle tank,’ before greeting troops and overseeing various training exercises, drills and combat maneuvers.
The photos mark the third time Kim has appeared at military drills in a month, as the country seeks to ramp up its defense capabilities in the face of what it sees as aggressive posturing by the US and its allies.
