TikTok is beholden to the CCP.

It uses the app to pull troves of sensitive U.S. user data into Beijing, which it then uses to launch espionage & foreign influence campaigns.

The House bill resolves this without giving the government any authority to ban any apps that are not controlled by China, North Korea, Russia, or Iran AND also a demonstrated national security threat.
