Science Experiment Foam Disaster

Science fair projects are an excellent way to teach the scientific method in a basic way to beginners. They're also a really fun way to make a huge mess! In this video, a lady describes how she's mixing potassium iodide and dish soap and water in a paper bowl she's holding. In front of her on the counter sits an empty soda bottle with a little bit of hydrogen peroxide. She mixes them together and BOOM! A huge amount of foam bursts through the top of the bottle and hangs from the ceiling. It's a good thing everyone watching has a good sense of humor because they are laughing at a massive mess.
