Let's look at it this way: what if you could reach across the seas of time, from one generation of your family, to one disparate, very, very, VERY far off into the future? What would you say to them? What would you want them to know? What wisdom, what legacy would you want to leave behind? This, among other things, is a crucial component to what we do here on this channel, and we encourage the rest of you to do so as well! Because, understand, humanity as a civilization has only been around for roughly 6,000 years, and as a species only around 200,000. The universe, by most scientist's estimates, is roughly 13.7 billion years old. Human beings have only been around for the blink of an eye relatively speaking. Imagine if you had a mode of communication (this one) where you have the potential to create information that could stand the test of that massive gulf of time, where you could reach across those generations, and let people know who you were, what you stood for, the way you lived. You would be, in a sense, a living fossil, and in more than one sense, part of the future's equivalent to our "Dead Sea Scrolls" today.

Why do so many of the philosophical tenets that we have today, seem so workaday? So... Basic? Well, it's because they ARE. Because, we are among the first movers in the frontier, building the foundations of all philosophy and understanding for the future, going forward.

So, friends, this is my offer to you here, and now, to be the proverbial "signal in the noise," to be that one thing that our millions upon billions of descendants will want to know and see more than any of the other nonsense, any of the mounds of rubbish that you might find in the darker corners of the internet today. Be the light in the darkness, the beacon that acts as the guiding light for our progeny. It is far, FAR more important than perhaps any of you now know, or realize.
