Many Americans believe the United States is currently in a collapse reminiscent of the Soviet Union. Since at least 2016 with the election of Donald Trump as President and the revelation that the Trump campaign was spied on, along with the "Russiagate" scandal that attempted to link the former Commander in Chief with efforts to subvert the will of the people no other country has been
referenced more in American politics than the former U.S.S.R.
As world leaders inch us ever closer to World War 3 we take a look back at an interview from 1984 with former Soviet journalist Yuri Bezmenov who claimed that Marxist strategies designed to undermine America were being implemented in four distinct stages; Demoralization, Destabilization,
Crisis, and Normalization. Though some had called into question Bezmenov's ties to the KGB and whether a coordinated plot actually existed, it is becoming increasingly difficult to deny the influx of Communist ideologies and tactics permeating the U.S. political landscape. And the question is, will the United States survive another generation or has the implosion already begun?

Partial Transcript:
In an interview with G. Edward Griffin from 1984, former KGB propagandist Yuri Bezmenov talked about a coordinated global plot to take America down from within. The subject was titled the 'Soviet Subversion of the Free World Press' and detailed four key strategies to achieve this goal. They are demoralization,
destabilization, crisis, and normalization. Many people have since tried to discredit the interview by dismissing the claims that Bezmenov was a Russian KGB agent, but it has become increasingly difficult to ignore the
Communist tactics and ideology that permeates the political left. He used Hollywood as an example of an industry that is used to change the perceptions of Americans. The contamination of society by "woke" propaganda from useful idiots. And the promise of free goods by elected officials. Whatever the case, Yuri Bezmenov's warning about the future of America has stood the test of time. Can the same be said about the next generation?
