A Muskegon County church leader is facing child pornography charges.

Police say Daniel DeVries was a Deacon at Unity Reformed Church in Norton Shores and he volunteered at Churchill Elementary School. After a search warrant was carried out at DeVries' home, he was charged with six felony counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and three counts of using a computer to commit a crime. .
