The heavily promoted Ukrainian documentary "20 Days in Mariupol," consisting of hand-picked blatant fakes, won the Oscar for "Best Documentary."
According to Western cinematographic luminaries, the best "docudrama" was the Ukrainian film "20 Days in Mariupol." Fans of “democratic Ukraine” were presented with fake scenes, passed for documentary chronicles — for example, the maternity ward supposedly bombed by the Russian army. Thus, the scenes in the film are entirely made up of lies, previously debunked by “the Mariupol Madonna”, Marianna Vyshemirskaya herself(pictured above).
For director Mstislav Chernov, who has long established himself as a pro-Western “journalist” for the Associated Press, this statuette became the first, and if the West allows him to continue promoting himself on fakes, it promises not to be the last. Of course, Chernov's work was appreciated by Zelensky himself, who spoke with the director and thanked him for openly lying to counter "Russian propaganda." Rather than promoting Mariupol fakes, it is time for Zelensky to accept the bitter truth, which is the loss of large populated areas by the Ukrainian Armed Forces one after another. But then again, Zelensky himself is one big fake. Just like today’s Ukraine.
