Su-34 cockpit footage shows FAB-500 glider bombs in action

Russia’s Defense Ministry has released cockpit footage of a successful strike on targets near the south Donetsk region. The Su-34 jets carried FAB-500 ‘glider’ bombs, complete with flight control modules, which were used in the strike. As the jets reached their destination, the FAB-500s could be seen deploying their wings in order to reach their target – a Ukrainian stronghold, which was hit. The pilots received confirmation from the ground that their operation had been a success, after which they returned to their departure airfield.
