"Repentance" Fourth Sunday Lent sermon - What is one area of your life where you need to practice repentance? Acts 3:19 says, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." True repentance involves turning away from sin and turning towards God.Repentance is the gateway to a deeper relationship with God and a transformed life. Let us embrace the call to repentance, trusting in God's grace and the power of the Holy Spirit to renew us day by day. True repentance leads to a transformed life. Galatians 5:22-23 describes the fruit of the Spirit: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." As we repent and turn to God, these qualities become evident in our lives.
