Pope says Ukraine should not be afraid to negotiate a peace deal

During an interview with Swiss television, Pope Francis said Ukraine shouldn't be afraid of "the white flag" and that it should instead find the "courage to negotiate".

He urged the negotiating route to secure peace before things get "even worse".
