This stunning instrument is hand finished by the artists and luthiers of Eyo Starra Originals it is called a hardanger fiddle, and originates from Hardanger Norway. It is said when the Hardanger fiddle plays it sounds like four instruments at once. Does it? You be the judge! This beautiful fiddle features nine strings, four over strings, and five drone strings that resonate as the instrument is played. The color of this instrument is a creation of our lutheirs, and the oil varnish is hand made. The tail piece, pegs and fingerboard feature stunning abalone inlay, and the front back and sides of this gorgeous piece feature intricate viking knot work to highlight its origins. The quote inscription in the center reads; "For I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night" if you would like to see more of this instrument or our other instruments available for sale, or in progress, check out my page on X https://x.com/EyoStarra?t=fgyvMcp76Sj-y8tM8P-7pA&s=09
