The fire occurred in a hangar on Volkhonskoye Highway near the village of Novogrelovo and covered an area of 1,000 square meters, as a result of which two people were hospitalized.

Due to the fire at Pulkovo Airport, the “Carpet” plan was announced, suspending all flights for 1.5 hours.

According to media reports, the introduction of the “Carpet” plan is associated with an attempted drone attack on an enterprise in St. Petersburg, which was shot down by air defense.
