Butler County Coroner to discuss county's state of health
Butler County Coroner Dr. Lisa Mannix, Butler County Health Commissioner Jennifer Bailer and Executive Director of the Butler County Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Services Board Scott Rasmus will hold a press conference to discuss the state of health in Butler County. Topics covered will be the final total for all cases seen in the Butler County Coroner's Office in 2017 including drug overdose deaths, the rise in fentanyl analogs in Butler County as well as increased methamphetamine related cases. The rise in communicable blood borne pathogen diseases such as hepatitis C and HIV, and options for prevention and treatment for substance abuse addiction throughout the county will be addressed by Commissioner Bailer and Director Rasmus, as well as other topics of concern to Butler County as we move forward in 2018.
