Family members losing hope of finding 73-year-old missing mother alive

A 73-year-old woman from Westfield has now been missing for a week. Nancy S. Gillett was last seen in Westfield on Monday, Feb. 26. A statewide Silver Alert was issued for Gillett on Wednesday, Feb. 28. She is described as 5 feet tall, 105 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. Gillett was last seen wearing a black coat, black pants and light colored shoes. She drives a red 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse with a black convertible top, Indiana plate 228LXY, similar to the one pictured below. Westfield police say Gillett may require medical assistance.
