DIY Cedar Bucket Planter

I wanted to make a tiered bucket planter like I've been seeing all over, but I wanted to simplify the process and solve a fairly major issue I've been seeing. My planter is only two levels and there are only two buckets at each level. I don't like the three tier bucket planters or the long rows because it becomes difficult to reach each bucket. When the bucket is full of dirt, it's difficult to reach over and pull it out from the holder. It's also difficult to get close to the plants to check on the or pick food from them. I used 1x4s because I found them on sale. They were plenty strong enough so if you wanted to use 2x4s, that would be even stronger. I used 3.5" gallon Menards buckets but they are the same diameter of 5 gallon buckets so if you follow my dimensions you should be able to build a planter for 3.5 or 5 gallon buckets - assuming the buckets you use are the same dimensions as the Menards buckets. I would recommend checking the diameter using my method just to be sure.
